Background
JUPITER RACING Technology was founded in 1993.
Besides its basic activity of import and supply of race, rally and high-performance parts and accessories, it soon began
cooperation with many famous suppliers, such as:
O.Z.RACING, SPARCO, OMP, A.P. RACING, GREENSPEED, SILKOLENE, to name but a few.
As a result of the vast technical experience and knowledge of racing ZASTAVA cars in this region (basically FIAT-related
cars), there are several famous engine-tuning "schools" for the brilliant FIAT SOHC-type engine (as used in majority
of Zastava 128, Koral (ex Yugo) and Florida cars).
Some of them were initially involved in developing of this complete FIAT SOHC Engine program, which during 1995-2000 was
our primary working objective, and we obtained a proven and very flexible range of upgradable engine-tuning options , of which
we are very proud. Besides, there are some very useful products developed for the FIAT transmission that typically goes with
these engines.
This FIAT-specific High-Performance product range is a fruit of a long experience of racing this engine type in many different
categories, specs., and engine capacities, including circuit racing, hillclimbs, rally and drag-racing race types.
The biggest force behind the development of this product range is our own Technical Development staff, which moved on
from where the others had stayed back in 1993-1996.
We can also point out that we have a considerable knowledge & experience for race preparation of the FIAT 600 / ZASTAVA
750 (600d) cars, which we have been racing succesfully with top results for many years in the past (1980-1986).
Besides this, we are currently specialising in modifying the PSA (Peugeot and Citroen) XU engines, for which we are in
the process of development of complete road-going high-performance kits (especially 205 GTI / MI-16, 405 MI-16, BX 16 Valve,
Xsara VTS, 306 S-16 etc..).
